Please see the happy and crowded situation of Waikiki Yokocho!
Waikiki Yokocho was designed around three different zones – Noren Street, Engawa Terrace, and Ramen Road.
Named for the "noren" cloth restaurant awnings that are ubiquitous in Japan, Noren Street houses restaurants offering savory lunch and dinner eats. Options abound, including authentic sushi, tempura, okonomiyaki (Japanese crispy seafood pancakes), yakiniku (grilled beef), and more. All the classic favorites await, with plenty more to explore.
Engawa is the traditional Japanese term for a house's entranceway and front sitting room – a place to enter and linger. At the Waikiki Yokocho, the Engawa Terrace is built around a large atrium, offering seating to relax and take in the scene while enjoying drinks and dessert.
